How long does it take to complete?
It normally takes 15 months to complete the requirements of the PgDip and two and a half years to complete the requirements of the PgCert. The MSc normally takes slightly over three years. If you have sufficient time to study more than 15-credits worth of modules at a time, then these times can be shortened. The minimum time possible to gain an MSc by part time study is two years. Most university regulations state that an MSc should be completed within five years but an Exam Board can agree to sanction an extension.

How flexible is the programme?
The programme is flexible in the sense that you can choose which module to study and when. Once you have enrolled on a module, we expect you to complete the work required for that module within the time allowed.

Can I study from countries outside the UK?
In principle the parts of the modules that are taught on the internet can be studied from anywhere in the world with internet access. The modules that requires remote access to EDA tools need a reasonably fast internet link to the UK.
