University of Surrey

The Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Surrey offers a wide range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in an environment where teaching and research are well integrated. The school has grown to become one of the largest in the university, with about 600 undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are committed to relevance in all aspects of our teaching - having recently been awarded 23 out of 24 for teaching quality. The aim is fuelled by our outstanding industrial links, collaborative teaching and research programmes, the endowment of industrially funded professorships and by our close contact with the real world through professional training placements of our students.

The school is particularly proud of the wide range and quality of its research activities; a fact confirmed by the coveted 5* research rating in the recent research selectivity assessments.
